Life as we know it.

Our life has been anything but normal or slow in the past couple weeks.
I have been home with the kids during the week and working during the weekend. Evan has been working 16 hours days for the past 2 weeks, it was crazy. Evan was doing a taping job in the evenings as well as working his day job. That is all over and we will temporarily return to life. I have 2 more weeks left of work and then I am done, I love my job but driving 25 mins one way for 15 hrs a week is not worth it. On Friday nights I spend 1 hour in the car for a 3 hour shift. I am going to say out of the work force for a couple months and then after Christmas I am hoping to find the same kind of Job just closer to home.
Evan will be working normal hours for the next week and a half and then he is off to Red Deer to work with one of our friends for 6 days. That is going to be a long week for me at home.

Hopefully I can think of something more Interesting to post in the near future.

Contest

I am not one to sign up for contests, I am not sure why but when I was reading Stacy's blog I knew I couldn't pass up this chance. Maybe I will get addicted to signing up for contests.
I love the Idea of a nursing bracelet, when I was nursing either of my two kids I would always forget what side was last and what time ( and who wants to feel there breasts in public to see which is fuller). I also checked out Amy May's sight and really like a lot of things she is offering, I will definitely be shopping there IF there are more children in the picture for us.

hope everyone is having a wonderful week.

The things we teach our Children

I have always known that our kids listen and hang on to every word we say. There have been many embarrassing moments when Emmanuel has repeated something we have said in the privacy of our own home. Today I saw the fun side.
I was playing kitchen with the kids , we were making food for the kids stuffed animals and we were having a blast. Emmanuel then decides that he wants to play house, he tells me that he is the dad and Micah will be the mom. I am thinking okay great maybe I can sneak away and get some dishes done, when I am torn from my thought to hear Emmanuel stating that Micah needs to stay in the Kitchen because she is the mom and he will go to work.
I thought it was very cute and funny.

We just came off of a wonderful week. My parents were out from Manitoba and we had a blast.

We spent the days hanging out, going to the mall or the Zoo. They left on Sunday and it felt way to early. It was a perfect balance of spending time with them, my parents spending time with the Kids and Evan and I having our own time with the kids.

I have been so thankful from the visiting that we could do with both of our parents in the last couple weeks.

I will post more later with Pictures.
